MY STORY

Welcome!

 

My name is Arielle and I am the proud owner of PinkHeart Sweets. I am a self-taught baker and cake decorator baking from home in Rockland County, NY. I started making these sweet treats as a hobby back in 2010 when I was 17 after watching Cupcake Wars and all cake decorating shows on the FoodNetwork channel. As I progressed and found myself taking more orders, I found a way to make this something I wouldn't mind doing for the rest of my life. That's where I came up with PinkHeart Sweets (it was also my username for aol when I was about 12). Hey, you gotta start somewhere, am I right?!

Constantly learning new tricks and techniques, I'm always excited when someone wants something a little challenging because I like to prove to myself that with a little practice and patience, I can do anything. Some people think cake is just a cake. Nowadays, cake is a piece of art. It's the center of attention at many occasions and some people's favorite part of the party. I know it's mine!
